This ongoing project takes its name from the second book in French
historian Fernand Braudel’s trilogy, Civilization and Capitalism, 15th-18th
Century. It aims to compile a reflection on the evolving changes to broad
social and political structures, as a result of the 2019/2020 global pandemic. It consists mostly of
artist’s books and multiples produced with materials and equipment found in the home.
